la rara is a small, boutique business based in Sydney, Australia. Specialising in screen printed greetings cards, notebooks, gift tags, note cards, postcards, invitations and bespoke social stationery. Each item is individually created by hand, one by one.
All stationery is designed by Lara Raymond using a wide range of vintage and modern images, illustrations and typography. Items are screen printed by hand using a Japanese Gocco machine in small runs of approximately one hundred or fewer editions. la rara began in early 2009 after a life long ardour for stationery, sending cards on every occasion (and non-occasion), and a love of making images. After discovering the world of Gocco, these all combined to create a new business with the aim to make a range of unique stationery that will make people smile.
